"Landlord" and "tenant" are words steeped in ideas of power, dominance and social status. As such let's retire them. Instead we can have "housing provider" and "housing customer." These words tilt the balance the other way in our psychology. A provider has a responsibility and a customer has rights and expects a hight standard in the product and service. Words matter.
According to our sources, the shadow government can now run all of your writings and audios through an artificial intelligence computer. From the subcomponents of your language and word choices, from the metaphors you chose, they can determine your psychology completely and literally read all your private thoughts. If you have any online presence at all, especially in social media or creative writings, you have no secrets. They know who the criminals are, who the assholes are and who the meek are. You are all bagged and tagged in cyber space.
Given that when a word is said all versions of that word are "pinged" in the brain before the correct one is selected, we must be careful with words that have powerful double definitions. As such, "Getting the shot," as in a vaccine, is almost indistinguishable to the brain as, Getting shot." In violent countries, especially those with high gun crime, this is a very problematic word choice. The word choice itself does not govern behaviour, yet acts a catalyst for certain behavioural responses by triggering different parts of the brain. Thus "shot" and "jab" would be better replaced by "protection" or "medicine."
Words speak at many levels, from the conscious to the subconsious dreamscape of metaphors and visual puns. Writers need to know what they are saying to the whole brain at every level of they are to be part of steering global society into an era of peace.
A word triggers all definitions of that word in the brain before it choses the right one from context. In that moment, different emotions are triggered and these emotions can subtly effect behaviour and attitudes. Thus writing is an art that requires some awareness of neurology and how the brain both creates and is developmentally influenced by words and word patterns. The brain is a wired machine, the links writers make matter very much.
If words are your sword, your writing must seek right the world for the with a knight's code. It is the only way to the real light of day.
Angus was a generous poet. He would say words are the way we free the soul and so if we could not express our feelings in our own, we were to steal his, and by that manner we would soon find ourselves more superman than mortal.
We can also learn much from the words that have come into fashion and fallen out of fashion. What do these words say about the way our society is evolving (or devolving as is sometimes the case)?

The idea of “missing words” is an interesting one, to find a gap one needs to realise that something you wish to say either isn’t possible with the language you have or that it takes a lot of words to say something that is very simple. Or perhaps, that something that could be honoured with many words with different nuance only has one word that feels more functional than beautiful.

When words and thoughts are good anchors or control; when role models can become cages or keys; the wise support with wisdom and the foolish man becomes a king.
"Mastery" is something we should all reach for through our innate passions and curiosity, but a "master" is a word for a young boy. We call a girl a "miss," as in an "error" or "unlucky, it's not a boy." We call people who buy products "customers" - as if this is our "custom" and culture. Words and culture are the same thing, always linked and significant. And so we do need to create new words or borrow them from other cultures - in some languages the word for a child translates as "sacred gift." The words we have and the ones we lack are significant and have an effect on the way we think and behave. Thus, they are also a real opportunity to migrate our cultures into ones that represent the power of love instead of the love of power.
