Being one of The Averages is normal and good. You can live a good life and have fun as one of them. They love, enjoy and do wonderful things. If you want a different mode of living, however, and challenging times call for such individuals, then the hero mode could be your calling. It is tough though and it gets tougher. I guess it's all down to personal taste.
The Averages are safer in a true age, "a vera age" and so need heroes and heras to make it. They will love you forever, you saviours, but they will stay right where they are because they chose to. That is the way it is. Each self selects their path, that is free will. Make your own destiny. Earn it.
"The Averages" love the concept of the avengers - the heroes that take pain to save them over and over - but not the reality that they render themselves relatively more expendable by their own choices. The Averages are the bystanders that stand by while bad things happen. They get hit by speeding cars, falling anvils, random shit. The heroes have a different sort of danger, one they chose to make a difference. So, they get their own storyboard. They are worth the effort. If you don't like it, upgrade to hero status. It's free. Anyone can attend tryouts.
War Bird, the averages can't tell the difference between you and a robin, so take it easy, their indifference has blessings too.
