Only in a society of great diversity, where there are people who feel secure in specialising in unique abilities, can new heroes arise in relation to a wide variety of changes in the environment; evolution can only function well when there is such diversity. As such, a diverse and cooperative society will suffer less during periods of adversity and recover faster. A "monoculture" of educational outcomes is thus more vulnerable in challenging times. To unexpected problems will arise unexpected solutions from unexpected heroes whom had talents that were previously less useful.
When intelligence transformations occur in the specialising brain, via neuro-plasticity, they appear very different from one another. Just as with energy transformations chemical energy can become heat and light, intelligence can take many forms. Just as the physical world needs energy transformations, the social sphere needs intelligence transformations. Intelligence potential however, can be created or destroyed. The brain is a wonderful and vulnerable supercomputer that needs an emotionally positive environment for proper development. We all specialise for the benefit of the group with unique talents and passions. We are all intelligence transformers.
Everyone has a talent given and nurtured by the divine, and the way to it is the breadcrumb trail your passions and curiosity can see. So follow it. Follow it. Though others cannot see it or comprehend. For that is your way home, to feeling accomplished, to forming your legacy.
My talent is as a weaver with concepts as my thread, for they need such careful stitching to bring the right levels of healthiness. So I will make the very best clothing I can for you all, blankets and warm hats, gloves and a shawl. I hope you learn how to make them too, that you become masters of greater heights than I, for then I can rest easily with our craft in safe hands.
You have the most ridiculous level of talent I've ever seen. Just do what you do. We'll learn by watching, imitating and practicing. If you don't go on and develop this mastery to the highest possible level, the world will have lost a great chance to leap forward. So jump and keep on jumping. We'll do our best to keep up.
"Lucy, it's time to tell kids that the skills and talent they have are the right ones for what they are passionate to do, in the way they are passionate to do it, to trust their instincts. We need to tell them that they are are enough and discovering their own talents is an exciting journey of self-discovery. To select only certain qualities, to expect behaviour more suitable for the elderly, is torture for both mind and body. Everyone has talent that is so unique that it needs to unfold like a flower. When the environment is right, kids will thrive; for when teachers are like the patient gardener, blooming is natural."
