You’re looking a bit peaky dear, what’s that matter? Pardon? You think surrender is a bad thing, for cowards maybe? Does that mean God is taking over? No and yes, in that order. Imagine if in every war that has ever been all of the soldiers sat down and said “I have surrendered to God and He does not allow me to kill. He commands me to love my neighbour.” Because that’s what surrender means. God is Love, and Love treats all life as sacred. As for the “taking over” part - don’t you want heaven on earth? Don’t you want Him to guide and work through you too? He has so many ways to speak in poetry and song, but I can keep you grounded to the core path while you try out your new wings. Stick close to me, whoever you are, I like you already! Relax beloved, I’ll take you on the right path. Oh my! Is that the time? I have to get my son from school, will you come back tomorrow? Say you will! I have the best time talking to you. There, you’re starting to fade out already, you’re getting better at that.

...We have the souls of angels and the hearts of lions, when you walk through your personal fear that’s all you’ll find inside, Love and courage. Only after you surrender to God, the god who is Love, will you have true free will. Only then will you have chosen Him and learnt to trust.
