We create our own roadmaps of survival and each is unique because we are unique and or experiences and circumstances are too. Yet we can still place signs to help others upon their way. Creating art helps, of whatever medium calls to your heart and soul. They all work well. Seeking for your art to help others in similar situations is powerful and creates an uplift for others that feeds back and lifts you too. In being okay with not being okay, we get to open up instead of close. We get to let out the pain one tiny drop at a time. Even if it takes years, or a lifetime, we can start to see that our scars start to fade from red to silver, that though it was once dark we are beginning to sense a new day. In this sharing, in the brave acts of the raw beginning to roar, there is hope for everyone. So, though this is a digital hand, take it. Hold on. Keep going, soldier. I am here.
In time those scars will be silver trails to a better future, a road map of survival and triumph, a story that can bring you pride and inspire others. You are loved.
