For so long after the starting gun was fired I could not recall that moment. I was running through the centuries seeking my partner. It is hard to stop looking after so long even when you are sure you've found the one. There is a sense of unreality to the new reality, a period of adjustment that is required to reorient and settle what has become. You go from "Ready, steady, go," to "stay." Then you recharge for the next phase, for the next starting gun, this time as a team, this time as "double trouble."
"Ready, steady, go," was said so many eons ago that all I recall is the sense of mission and duty it began with and must end with the completion of. The memories of those struggles remain in God's keep.
The world is not on pause, ever, it's on four paws and galloping fast. So be ready. Be ready and steady, then go.
