Notions of eugenics, of selective breeding in humans, takes away our creator's right to direct our evolution through falling in love - He made all things bright and beautiful, including us.
The racehorse breeding analogy with humans was used by Nazis for cruel eugenics programs. The main driving force behind dysfunction in humans however, is not our genes, but environments of poverty and dysfunction that impact our brain development and epigenetics. The best way to improve our species would be to end poverty, hunger and suffering - to act with love for all.
From a point of view of faith we must state clearly that such ideologies steal creator's right to direct evolution through falling in love. Love and indifference are opposites and the vehicles for good and evil - and there is little more emotionally indifferent than eugenics. We must be aware of this difference if we are to become culturally sound and honour our creator.
