We are born for love, for a love-nexus society, in which our emotions are communications, treasured and accepted. Yet in this money-nexus world our emotions can be exploited, manipulated and weaponised. So, "hides emotions," yeah Doc, this is a socially darwinistic world, that's what you do when culture atomises people instead of weaving them together.
We hide when we are afraid, when our perception of the environment informs us that caution is required. I'd think that was an obvious thing to figure out. So, maybe fix the environment and see if those who hide their emotions start to bloom, start to let them out and engage with the world.
"Hides feelings," apparently, that's what the scribbled note said. That's a symptom. Are they bright enough to figure out the cause and put it right?
