As the lever is switched on the windmill, the wires soon hum, singing to us of the flow of electrons on their way to the towns and villages. This electrical energy becomes so much, from music to lights. It heats our homes and cooks our food, and for that we are truly grateful.
The electricity flows overhead in the wires that are both the pipeline and river, those blessed electrons that bring so much comfort to living.
As the light turns on I'm so glad that metals are so loose with their electrons, that their atoms allow them to flow. A world without electronics would still be awesome I'm sure, but technology is awesome.
I know it's electrons flowing and not magic, but I'm still amazed by electricity and what it can do for us.
