Dejected is a tough emotion because it is a recipe of hope and hopelessness, and you can either tackle it head on and find a way through or not. Me, I fight. It's in my nature to get back up and give it everything I have. Otherwise, how will you ever be sure that you couldn't have made it? Goals are good. As long as you live, have goals that are ambitious and learn how to make your emotions work for you. Be the boss. Reject dejection. It's a better way to live.
I kinda felt dejected. It's hard to want a thing that much and feel that it is beyond reach. But I always want what I want and second best will never do. So that feeling, that emotion, it becomes part of my motivation to work harder, to be creative and intelligent, to keep going for what my heart and soul are calling for.
