I love my mother. She is fat, confident and sassy. She's "got it going on" for sure. If I could find a way to support her to become fitter, then I'm all about that. After all, I want her to live a long, long time.
Being fat puts our loves ones at higher risk of covid, diabetes, cancer and more. They need love and support to evolve their dietary and exercise habits. This is a together thing.
The person is there for loving and being loved, that fat is something else entirely, a thing they can be supported in overcoming.
Being fat is a reflection of a brain in pain and a society that has been under pressure for so long, so many sources of stress and a food industry that has pushed addictive junk without regard for life or health.
The fit have so much to teach the fat, perhaps more in term of self-love than diet. A good role model who encourages and supports is priceless.
It ain't about being skinny or fat anymore, it's about being strong.
