Once the needs of our community were met, we were working from the heart to donate to other communities around the world. It wasn't a trade thing, something measured, yet more as the love of a family where you give whatever you can.
The donations of the grandmothers was the knitwear, the bright woollen clothing that warmed everyone's spirits each winter season. Some made them by hand, others used the machines, either way it was a gift of love.
When we donated it filled our hearts so much. Perhaps it's easier for us to feel this way in a world that has evolved passed the use of money, but I can tell you it's wonderful.
Receiving can only feel good when the gift is freely given, when the giver feels and emotional benefit too. Thus the system of money denies us the emotions we have evolved to need for good health, it is a barrier rather than pathway to social cohesion and peace.
