Upon my deathbed my legacy is the kiss to all I have loved, to creation and future generations.
In her deathbed she was as cosy as she ever was in upon her Sunday afternoon naps. As her soul had smiled all her days, in the good times and the bad, she left us with that same sense of eternal warmth.
For me, a deathbed is the last word in the story of this life and the passing on to the new page of the next. That could be on Earth or anywhere in the universe; it could be in a different reality or a return to our creator, the call to come home for a rest. Either way, it is a farewell, yet our bonds of love remain.
We wanted his deathbed to be as beautiful as a birth. His favourite music and flowers. The sense of being loved, that the way we all were was part of his legacy, one we were proud to continue and build upon.
