betraying satan - quotes and descriptions to inspire creative writing
One day I realised I'd been trained my entire life to accept what Satan wanted, the greed, hate and suffering of the world. We were his, it appeared. So what could I do but betray Satan, to start working against him no matter the cost? There was punishment of course, but it's either hell now or later, eh? I always was one to take my medicine. I learned how to shine a light on what that demonic scum wanted hidden. I learned how to become a terrible demon, perhaps that's the best I can do in this round of living.
We were demons with halos, we fought for the protection of society, only ever killing the truly evil. We had our code, a sort of modern day knights-code with swords packin' bullets. If they trafficked people, if they caused deaths and didn't care, if they profited from human suffering and environmental destruction... if they did the devil's work, we stopped them. The devil may have trained us, but we mocked him every day with our actions. We never were scared of hell, ain't about to start now.
